Load order is important! Files are loaded in the order specified in your TOC file. You should always list files in the right order so that as each one loads, any other files it depends on have been loaded before it. While what you're doing now might work for you, it won't work for a user who doesn't have another addon that embeds LDB...

Posted By: Phanx
The repeated message suppression feature only suppresses messages from players. Currently the suppression feature works like this: every time a new message is received, it is compared against the last 10 received messages; if it matches one of them, it is ignored, otherwise it is shown and the "last 10 messages" history is updated. G...

Posted By: Phanx
That's not an "issue" at all. What you're seeing is the new "solo mode" which is active whenever you are not in a group, or if you do not have Earth Shield (i.e. you're not resto). Once you join a group, the Earth Shield charge counter and target name should reappear.

Ace3 isn't an addon. It's a collection of libraries, and since the addons you're using already embed the libraries they need, you do not need the standalone package version.

You obviously saw the post two down from yours containing the same error... it's too bad you just as obviously did not read my response to it, or you would have known that I am aware of the error, that it will be fixed in the next version, and that it has no effect on the addon's functionality except for not clearing the Water Shield...

1. PhanxChat does not do anything with emotes. 2. Reducing channel names to their number is the intentional default behavior. If you prefer a more verbose format, please see the page linked in the addon description: For more information, including planned features, advanced configuration options, and a list of companion addons,...

Please use the Feature Request link below the Download button to request features! It's easier for me to keep track of requests if they're in a single, organized location, and it's easier for users to see if a feature has already been requested if there's a single, organized location for them to look.

Hmm, I thought I'd fixed that before releasing... apparently not. The only effect you should see from it, though, is that your Water Shield counter won't reset to zero when you die. It's already fixed in my local copy, and will be fixed in the public version on the next release. I sent you a PM also. :)

Posted By: Phanx
When you are solo, you have no group members to cast Earth Shield on, and ShieldsUp intentionally does not try to track Earth Shields on people who are not in your group. I do plan to show Earth Shield charges on yourself when you are solo, though. I did not plan to release the solo mode so soon, but there were other changes that...

Posted By: Phanx
1) MobHealth is no longer necessary or even useful in WoW 3.x, since the WoW API now returns actual health values for everything. 2) Since you're using embedded libraries, you don't need the standalone copies of AbacusLib, DewdropLib, FuBarPlugin-2.0, LibCrayon-3.0, and TabletLib.

Umm... the same way you'd input a command to any other addon, without all of the extra symbols: /osh position x 300 /osh position y 200

Version 3.0.2.25 is up. This version adds support for Improved Earth Shield and the Glyph of Water Shield. It also adds a basic solo mode which shows only the Water/Lightning Shield counter when you are not in a group, or if you don't have Earth Shield. The bad news is that the way ShieldsUp is written right now does not allow for...

I'd actually suggest including only native LibDataBroker support. LDB is supported by a half-dozen display addons, including Titan Panel. FuBarPlugin is supported only by one display addon (FuBar); those wishing for an Aloft icon on FuBar can install Broker2FuBar.

Just the "Version" line from the TOC is sufficient. I ask for both that and the version you clicked to download in case the site is somehow giving you the wrong file. If you're playing on US servers, you're in WoW 3.0.2, and the error you describe shouldn't happen... in fact, it's exactly what was happening that I fixed in version...

Hmm. Well, I'd just assumed it was something you'd changed, since it started immediately after updating TomTom. I guess I'll look elsewhere then, and sorry for wasting your time.

Why did you change the coordinate block to reference FRIZQ__.ttf directly instead of using a font object? Now it's using ugly Friz Quadrata instead of the font face I've changed all font objects to use (via tekticles). (Yes, I know I can "replace" the Friz font file, but I'd rather not for just one addon.)

@Froagh: What game locale are you playing in? If you are playing in a locale that has not yet updated to WoW 3.x, you will need to revert to the pre-3.x versions of PhanxChat. Also, as a general rule, you should never say "the latest version", as most authors (myself included) will not look at the date and time of your post and c...
