FYI MetaHud treats the settings for hiding Blizzard unit frames as authoritative and will show them if it is not configured to hide them. This means if a user has configured them to hide in some other addon they keep getting shown until the user tracks down your addon and sets it to hide them too.

I don't know if there's anything different now than back then, but I did that intentional hack to load my options and assume I just loaded AceConfig for the first time. I could just load AceConfig with the core but chose not to. I do not see how your patch will be compatible with my setup, but I'll look further into it. The patc...

Incorrect usage of the Interface Options Panel system.
Posted By: Shefki
You're passing a table to the Interface Options Panel system as the parent for your panels. However, you're expected to pass the name of the parent panel. Additionally, in your case you're really not using a parent panel. You're parenting your action panel to the stub panel you're using to force loading of the options addons....

Dominia, The method of getting your RealName from the game is to whisper yourself. Outside of an event that very rarely fires, there is no other way to my knowledge to get your own real name. If an addon can get the name it could send it to other players via the addon communication system. AddOns can hide whispers that you are sen...

This addon is intended to fix bugs in the WoW UI, which is implemented in Lua on top of the game engine. The memory errors are caused by an issue where the game is using more memory than it can allocate. Most of that memory is used by the game itself and not addons. WoW is a 32-bit app and generally that means it is limited to u...

Important announcement about PitBull Unit Frames. Effective today development on PitBull4 is ceasing. We will be resuming development of PitBull3. We've heard the call of users who have brought their difficulties in switching to PitBull4. The lack of a way to migrate settings to PitBull4 to PitBull3 has caused users a great d...

v3.2.16 is available on WoWInterface with a fix. Please note that PitBull3 is no longer being actively developed. On top of lack of active development itself, it's based on the Rock framework which itself is no longer maintained either. I strongly recommend that users migrate to PitBull4. You can not convert your config from Pi...
