Hermes LightUI

Hermes_LightUI is an optional replacement for the default UI that ships with Hermes. This one is much easier to configure, and only shows spells that are on cooldown. It is limited to only showing bars however.

Installation Notes:
Install this plugin like you would any other addon, which is directly in the ..\Addons folder. It does NOT go into the ..\Addons\Hermes folder. Once installed, you can enable or disable it from the plugins section of Hermes options (type /hermes config)

Additional Details
Another advantage of this UI is that you don't have to configure Spell Monitor to only show players with the spell (the default UI requires this step be taken)

It was created for a few reasons:

To satisfy those who only wish to see spells that are on cooldown.
To mimic the behavior of similar addons (such as oRA3).
To provide a solid example or starting point for the creation of a Hermes plugin.

Note: If you no longer wish to use the default UI that ships with Hermes, it's a plugin and can be disabled.

* Fixed Lua error when changing options before Hermes started receiving.
* TOC bump.

Hermes_LightUI v1.1

* Added hide self option
* Changed time format from Seconds to HH:MM:SS
* Added a one pixel gap between bars (note: BAR_GAP can be set manually in the Lua file if you wish to change this)
* Reduced background alpha slightly (note: BAR_BGALPHA can be set manually in the Lua file if you wish to change this. Range is 0 to 1)
* Added German locale

I first thought i have to put this into my hermes folder and remove the defalt ui folder but NO it goes into my addons folder, maybe you shoud write this in the addon discription.

1. config for spacing between bars (or tell me where to change this in the lua?)
2. show minutes/sec instat of only seconds

- hide the spark
- alpha of bar background
- abillity to not track my own cooldowns

Thanks Tony, most of those are reasonable requests. As long as it's "simple" and "untuitive" then I have no qualms with adding it. I just want to make sure this UI remains familiar to people.

Excellent note about how to install it. I hadn't considered that before and can see your point.
