KeyProfiler

KeyProfiler was made to save the key bindings that you are using at the moment so that you can load them later. This means that you can have different key binding sets (PvP, raids, fishing, special raid encounters, ...) that you can switch around with your favorite LDB addon (standard is a minimap button).
The only thing that I want to add in the future are some events so that you can switch your key bindings automatically.

- added a few bindings

- Dropdown should now be clamped to screen

- Increased frame strata of the dropdown
RC1 0.2:
- Updating Profiles is now possible, just use the same name as an existing profile and it will be overwritten... I don't really know why I did not allow this in the first place
- Used the Blizzard Configuration Screen for Addons (ESC -> Interface -> Addons)
- LibDataBroker support
- Fubar is no longer supported (I think there is a converter for LDB -> Fubar ... but I don't use it)
- Changed from Ace2 to 3
- Removed Dewdrop and TabletLib (Created the dropdown on my own)
- The minimap button is optional (see the settings panel)

Can't guarantee it'll work 100% for you, but it works for me! Has not been tested with anything like bongos, bartender, dominos, etc, as far as I know. Please check in the optional files section once it becomes available. That is, unless Eggi comes and updates it officially!

PyroRaver A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 3 Uploads: 0	Took me a while to get this to work, even after trying the new patch (as of 1/7/09). Apparently, this cannot work without Fubar. I couldn't access the config menu without having Fubar 3.5 installed. Would it be possible to make fubar an optional dependency? Besides that, once I had this loaded, it worked flawlessly. I hope this addon gets maintained, since when the dual spec feature comes out, I'll be switching keybindings a lot more often.

Eggi A Deviate Faerie Dragon Forum posts: 10 File comments: 76 Uploads: 5	I did not think that this addon was really in use as it was only downloaded under 600 times and as I personally only used it for Gorefiend I had not the intention to update it. To the thing with the keybinds and dualspec: AFAIK Blizzard said that they will add a feature to the UI so that the keybindings will be changed when you change specs ... hopefully something that is working with addons like Macaroon. But as it looks like if there are at least a few that like this addon so I will update it to use LDB. Last edited by Eggi : 01-19-09 at 02:25 PM.

Eggi A Deviate Faerie Dragon Forum posts: 10 File comments: 76 Uploads: 5	It should save and load everything (macros, spells and buttons) which is keybinding related ... does not matter which addon you use for binding your keys (so for example if you bind spells directly with SpellBinder this will also be saved).

I have a small problem with the tooltip going off the screen because the menu opens from bottomleft to down of the Keyprofiler icon. Would it be possible to get a tooltip that is "intelligent" and stays on the screen? Thank you for this addon.

Hope that isnt confusing to you. That is the only real issue I found with this mod.

No matter what I do to use the new versions I get a messed up looking menu when clicking the KeyProfiler Icon. Have tried it via Minimap Button, of the LDB plugin using Buttonbin and Fortress. This screenshot shows what is happening

In the ESC -> Interface -> Addons -> KeyProfiler menu you should be able to create profiles and then load them with the minimap button. I change the button as soon as possible so that it opens the interface menu when there is no profile or if you right click it.
