TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

I'm using beta r164 on WoTLK. When I set a waypoint, the arrow doesn't set to the new location - it just points downwards as 0 yards. I tried setting a new waypoint but it happens again. Anyway to fix this?

This seems to get thrown when I get near the Exodar portal in Shattrath. I use Quest Helper to generate my waypoints.

Getting the same error. Deleting SavedVariables does not make it go away.

Hi Cladhaire. Thanks for your ongoing work on this!
Unfortunately, today's version (r164) throws this error when I attempt to set a waypoint. Reverting back to r164 beta actually fixes it. Other map related addons I'm running are Mapster, Gathermate, and Routes. Northrend, or Eastern Plaguelands. Those are two new maps.

This error occured to me in Tanaris when TomTom tried to make a waypoint from a Tour Guide note (To the west (29,66)). It seems however, that it doesnt want to accept any waypoints at the moment.
Here's the pastey of the first error: Code:
[2008/08/19 13:52:41-55-x29]: TomTom-164\TomTom.lua:573: bad argument #1 to 'floor' (number expected, got nil) 2 TomTom-164\TomTom.lua:573: in function `tooltip_update' 3 TomTom-164\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:255: in function <Interface\AddOns\TomTom\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:252> Code:

This is listed in the changelog and the comments. The old version was skewed pretty drastically and this was actually a fix rather than a change. Some have asked for an option to show the other version of the arrow and I plan to add that in at some point.

As you already know, 163 was kinda, bleh. Beta testing 164, however, and I notice two things. I did check to see if they were mentioned, but I only skimmed, I didn't look too hard.
1 - The arrow seems 'thinner', vertically. Not a big deal, I just noticed it was different, was kinda used to the fatty. 2 - When I actually 'get there', crazy arrow stays. It used to be, if I 'arrived' at a waypoint, the waypoint might still be there, but crazy arrow would go away. I use this with Quest Helper, and of course the waypoint might point to the middle of a spawning area, which I will roam around and kill stuff in. I used to go right to the exact spot to clear the crazyarrow, then roam around, without a crazy arrow on my screen, and as soon as I was done, I'd know I was done because crazy arrow would pop up pointing to QH's next task. Again, not a big deal, but I prefer the original behavior. It's easier than turn on, turn off, turn on, turn off, etc. 3 - Not a bug, but I still miss Cart's crazy arrow, coloring green/red/yellow based on distance instead of direction. I mentioned it a while ago. It'd still rock as an option, so some people could have it one way, some another. Low priority, of course, just wanted to toss it on the table, so to speak. ^_^
