Time Until AFK

This addon will display a timer counting down (when sub 30 seconds) and sound an audible alert based off a timer you specify in seconds. The timer will reset if you character is moved or a spell is cast, to prevent spam.

If you're marked as AFK, you will have a large banner in the middle of your screen stating so; and the timer will count up, Displaying the total amount of time you have been marked.

Note:
I've just updated this Addon after a very long hiatus from writing code. It's quite likely that there are a few bugs I've missed along the way. Please report them!

12July2010: TOC Update, remove v3 from everything on the options. Changed slash command to /tua and /timeuntilafk. Fixed a bug with playing the sample sounds.

05Aug2009: TOC Update

20May2009: Updated TOC for 3.1, and made all the options Load on Demand.

09March2009: Fixed some scaling & positioning bugs. Also added a few new options.

25Nov2008: The addon should be a bit more intelligent to determine when the timer shows. It's not perfect however, I still need a bit more free time to work on it.

22Oct2008: Fixed some scale issues & cleaned up options code.

17Oct2008: Updated for WolTK & cleaned up/enhanced code. Also added options to WoW Interface Options panel.

Zmidponk A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 1 File comments: 2 Uploads: 0	I won't use this addon, and, TBH, despite your protestations, kneeki, I fail to see the point of this mod other than to AFK leech in BGs. However, Blizzard to have the capability to make addons break if they have a problem with them (a la Decursive). I will punt a wee note their way letting them know about this addon, and leave it up to them to decide whether they will let it continue or break it in a patch. I suggest anyone else who doesn't like this addon, or any other in this vein, to not bother wasting their time flaming the authors and simply do the same.

There are addons which expedite that process also! Once again, if you don't like the addon, don't use it. Please, stop the flaming.

Assuming you realize what an "enabler" is, that question shouldn't have been asked. Yes, people can do it prior, but this addon makes it *that* much easier now. Get it?

As I found it useful, I'm sure others will just as much. If you do not like the addon, then don't use it.

Warden doesn't do that. Official rules from Blue are "if it can be done in the scripting engine [lua] we give you, it's legal."

There's no way they will make this addon illegal, they'll just continue to ban honour leechers.

It's really quite sad that someone would waste their time to code something like this, there's a million better addons you could be writing.

In Europe at least, BG leeching is now against the T&C of the game and is deemed illegal by Blizz. Disgusted that this is even allowed on here tbh and don't get all freedom of speech knackery on me over saying that, this mod is plain and simple a tool to allow scumbag leechers get away with it easier in the BG.
