FAQs
/freeb will unlock the frames
/freeb <something> will open the interface panel.

oUF is included in this addon but it is only accessible to Freebgrid.

Q: How do I create new indicators?
A: Edit tags.lua (some lua skills required). I've added at least one indicator to every healing class, so you can use those as an example(always open to suggestions). Then add the tag name to your class table at the bottom of the tags.lua.

Q: How do I add raid (de)buffs?
A: Use the aura_list.lua file to add spell names or GetSpellInfo(spellid) to the aura table and set a priority number >= 1(Higher numbers show over lower).

Most of the general setting can be done in the interface panel and usually requires a ReloadUI when your done.

Hi!

Yesterday I deactivated all addons exept of ouf_freebgrid, statblockcore and data_performance.

I joined a 40 ppl alterac war and had a look at the memory usage. At the beginning ist was about 380 kb but after a few mins it went up and up and up.

Ther must be a problem with the code.

I've downloaded the addon again and have completely cleared my WTF / WDB / ADDON folders an have tested the addon agian.

But i got still the same problem with raising up memory usage of your lovely addon.

This is just my layout style using oUF and would basically take a rewrite to obtain this.

During an bossfight the max. of memory usage was about 8 MB!!!
Im not sure how that is even possible. Its never been over 300kb for me. Maybe another addon using libHealComm is buggin out?

Hello there!

At first i want to thank you for your hard work to make this nice Addon possible.

Yesterday i tried it for the first time since the release of patch 3.2 during a 25 ppl raid.

At the beginning everything was fine, memory usage was about 450 kb. After pulling any mobs / bosses, memory usage went up. During an bossfight the max. of memory usage was about 8 MB!!! The biggest problem is that my framerate went terribly down at the same time. I was lagging with 1 fps instead of 28 before the patch.

I deactivated your freebgrid and everything went fine. No frame rate downs and no lags.

I don't want to use Grid2 again.
Maybe you can check out and solve this problem.

I really like this addon!

Regrads

Yeah, you know what? I forgot to update oUF core and HealComm after 3.2, so ignore me.

Another question -- has anyone else had the incoming (or outgoing, depending on your perspective) heal texts AND heal bars misreporting since Patch 3.2? I have. For example, when I use Flash of Light, it says it will be 1.2k, which is incorrect. Holy Light says it will be between 2.2 and 2.4, which is impossible. My HLs are about 7-8k normal. This has only been happening since 3.2.

@goliath0

I've never had that error. What event were you doing and what is your config? So I can troubleshoot.

Great great Unitframes!
Could do almost everything i wanted. Just 3 things i couldnt figure out:

1) Debuffcount. Is it possible to add? Realy wanna know how many Debuffs my MT has on him

2) Health deficit shown on the second textline, not instead of the Playername. So that I still know whos missing HP

3) Name and Classcolor still shown when a Player is dead. For a Druid its hard to figure out whom to give a Battlerezz

Keep up the great work, and thanks for this Addon

Also, I keep getting spammed with debuffs I didn't receive (they blink with the icon frequently, happens to my frame only I think)

Also, Shadowfiend doesn't show up as a pet.

Also, no raid pets/vehicles

Gah, back to Grid :-(

Yes, I think that will work. In fact, I believe that's what I originally tried, and it did work. The problem with that, however (if we're following each other), is when I do 5-mans. In a 5-man, the it would be one column at the bottom of the screen. As you can imagine, having just a 1x5 column at the center bottom is not really nice for a clique healer as much as a 5x1 row would be. So, to sum up, when I have it set up to display a 40-man with an 8-column, 5-row set up, I encounter the problem of just the one column for 5-mans. If I set it up for 1-row for 5-mans, I get the problem of the 40-man 5-column, 8-row flowing down off the screen.

Ideally, this is what I'm trying to set up:
- 8-column, 5-row for 40-mans
- 5-column, 5-row for 25-mans
- 5-column, 1-row for 5-mans

I guess I could simply tab out, edit it, and /reloadui depending on the size of the group I'm in, but, of course, not ideal.

I understand if this isn't immediately achievable, and please don't think I'm being demanding. I love this addon. I will try your suggestion, and let you know the results. I may try posting screenshots as well.

Yes, the number of numRaidgroups just controls whats groups show up. I see what your asking for and it can not be achieved without some serious hacking of the code. Blizzard declares 5 members per group so that controls the number of unit spawns(5 frames per column or row depending on how you have groups spawning). I suggest using the point = "DOWN' and growth = "RIGHT" method in the config and mess with the setpoint to fit your UI. The "Centered" effect won't work, but frames shouldn't grow off your screen.

I didn't think it did that.... I've never done that using clique. I can't see the point of making a "click" UF specific to just the player or your raid frames.

Anyways.... it's your set up, not mine, how ever it works for you i guess.
If you use right click for a spell and don't want to override the drop down menu on your normal unitframes.
