Missing Addon button

I read the other post about a missing Addon button in the lower left hand corner when you log into the game. I am trying to install Ctraid_assist

I followed your advice to the original poster and am still having problems .

I deleted both the Interface and the WTF folders.
I then re-created the Interface file.
Created the "AddOns" folder inside it.
Then copied the files from my desktop folder that id extracted using winzip.

At this point im rather frustrated.

BTW I did have Cosmos at one time but uninstalled it. To make sure I didnt have any files anywhere I ran a search. I am running windows XP btw.

Appreciate any help you can provide.

Okay, can you tell me *exactly* what is inside the AddOns folder, please? Exact folder names, what is inside them ...

Thanks for your speedy response.

Here is the path:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

Inside AddOns:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Images
Then all the CT_ files like RAboss RAsets etc......

Hope this helps.

Thanks again for your time.

It sounds like you missed a folder. Your path should look like this:

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CT_RaidAssist\files
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CT_RaidAssist\Images\files

Every addon you use has its own folder inside the AddOns folder.

Try making a CT_RaidAssist folder and moving things inside it.

/edit I have to go out for an hour or so, but try what I said, if it doesn't make sense or doesn't fix it for you, post again, either I'll reply when I get back or another of the fantastic community we have going here will likely step in and take over while I'm out.
