Okay, so then C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft is the right folder.

Inside it, you have

..\Interface\AddOns\GroupButtons\<files>

right?

That doesn't make sense ... tell you what, go log in, go as far as the Character Select screen, look in the bottom left hand corner. Do you see an "AddOns" button there?

If yes, press it, see whether GroupButtons shows on it.

If you have the AddOns button, and you see GroupButtons, make sure it is checkmarked to use it.

If you don't have the AddOns button, or if GroupButtons isn't listed on it, come on back here and post.
