Your path looks right. I'm not sure about the final folder name though. Can you tell me the name of the .lua file that is inside that folder?

or

../AddOns/GroupButtons/<files>

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\GroupButtons\<files>

is the correct path.

Any chance you have 2 WoW folders?

Okay, you do have 2 WoW folders then. Go to the shortcut on your desktop (presuming you have one), right click on it, go down to Properties. Find out where it is installed.

You are looking for the "Target" or "Start In" location.

We are looking for (using mine as an example):

"D:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe"

on that properties tab. We need to know where the WoW.exe file is located.

...

Go to your wow shortcut on your desktop.

Right click.

Go down to Properties.

Look for the line that says either:

Target: "D:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe"

or

Start In: "D:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe"

Tell me what that line is.
