im newb HELP!! plz:)

I'm a newb to the mods, I followed the instructions but only 1 in 10 mods would work, I have tryed:

AutoPetFeed http://www.wowinterface.com/download...fo.php?id=3952 (worked)

CT_MailMod http://www.wowinterface.com/download...fo.php?id=3866 (worked)


I put them all in AddOns which i had to make in Interface:

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

And put all the extracted folders inside it but only a select few work.
Any suggestions anyone has would be awesome if you need any more information please let me know what you need to help me.

Some of those mods may be out of date with the new patch.

Try to check the 'load out of date mods' button in the addon screen. But some of those may not work period unfortunatly.

Hey, yes I think only 1 of them is not out of date then. To fix this log in and when it goes to the character screen click "Addons" on the bottom right and then make sure they are all checked. Most out of date ones should still work.

THe only one that said it was out of date is "InTheZone" and I got it to work the others just wont come up on the Addon screen at all

Make sure they are all in their own folders... like the .toc file (and most of the rest of the files) that come with each of them should be in (for example)
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\PiggyBank

Make sure its not in:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Interface\AddOns\PiggyBank
or
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Addons\PiggyBank

I keep looking at it over and over and i cant see anything wrong iv gone through the FAQ numerous times and nothings poping out but... all the CT_... mods work.. but CT_mastermod it works but the pictures that are sposted to come up on my map (ie CT and RA CT..Mastermod and raidassist) they only come up as green Boxs? have any ideas?

a tip is to never unzip right into the Interface/AddOns folder ...

open the zip/rar and if there is a Interface catalog in it, press it and then you see a AddOns and press it and then you should see a named catalog, ex. PiggyBank ...

that flder you drag to the Interface/AddOns ...

to just unzip/unrar it makes loads of trouble as everyone seem to pack their stuff different ...
