Focus Frame with Pitbull?

I seem to have some trouble with using the Focus system. Every time i try to set a focus target a Blizzard error come up saying that i cant use that feature
because of and addon, in this case Pitbull. But i see several UI's that use focus frame from Pitbull. Do i need to disable Blizzards own Focus mod?

This seems to be the only fix atm. Make a macro or type the '/focus' out with a target selected for focus. /focus with no target to clear focus. It's a known blizzard bug that only has this work around atm.
