I figured those were tied together somehow, its the same style bar.

I've ran into something since taking the latest push earlier, normally (and the option is set) when I take new quests they auto-track and populate the map markers, etc. At the moment, I have to open the log every time and click the tracking button to get it to appear on the map and the tracking hud

Ok that's just strange... I did the entire entry to draenor line last night and it was auto tracking every quest I picked up... you have both "Autowatch new" and "Autowatch changed" enabled?

The only problem I've found with the garrison is if you have the map set to dock when you go inside and you mouse over the minimap the map will quickly switch between the map and the docked minimap to create a strobe effect. I assume it has something to do with the confusion the map has with docked minimaps and being outside, not sure.

I had set the garrison to think it's an outdoors map (MMOutdoors) that could be causing it... I'll do some testing

Are you in a horde or alliance garrison, and what are your current options for the minimap set in regards to docking? I haven't been able to reproduce this

I see the problem now, it was Outlands there, when it should of been Outland. I removed those translations from Guide however as they really do belong under Zones.

So now its working fine LOL, didn't toggle them or anything. must have just been a one-timer, I'll let you know if it recurs.

What I really need right now is someone who is level 100, to enter UBRS and post the errors... that'll help with that problem while I try to figure out this new task system and how exactly it all works

it is now working since the release 2 days ago. however now it does not want to auto track the quest frequently. i've undid and redid the settings to see if it would take hold. will solve for a few but then falls off again. no errors. the only error from carbonite i get currently is bad character from zhTW translation in guide-guide.lua.

Code:
9x Carbonite\Locales\zhTW\Guide-Guide.lua:50: unexpected symbol near '1'

Thanks for all the work Ry ... we *really* appreciate everything you've done.

There is a foreign language addon on WoWInterface called CarboniteBR, which in itself is not an issue. I have not installed it nor have ever thought of using anything other than this one ... but I use Minion for addons and it thinks that the Carbonite from github/Rythal I put in my addon folder is CarboniteBR ... just wanna mention it so anyone also using Minion can know to maybe uninstall the CarboniteBR, before installing the real Carbonite (once it's up).

Oh yeah, my quest tracker keeps dropping out too.

Yep, its happening again here. Seems to be intermittent, some quests track immediately and others have to be done manually, no LUA errors either

Are you possibly in combat or thought to be in combat? it doesn't update the tracker so long as it thinks your currently fighting.

Just to verify, sometimes it's when the cursor is over the special garrison map, sometimes it's when the cursor is on the outside of the garrison map that it flickers in and out.

Here is the error I get, the line numbers may be slightly off from comments I added to some minor changes I made to my file.
GetPos Err:995:
Carbonite\NxMap.lua:9198: in function 'GetWorldPos'
Carbonite\NxMap.lua:5240: in function '?'
Carbonite\NxMap.lua:4779: in function 'Update'
Carbonite\NxMap.lua:3753: in function <Carbonite\NxMap.lua:3678>

Side note, any chance at adding HandyNotes to things that don't get removed from the minimap and put into the "Carbonite Minimap Frame"? Handy Notes adds a numeric value at the end of the name for each icon. It sort of works as is, but the handynote icons will slide on the minimap, and flicker back and forth from the minimap to the carbonite frame.

I updated line ~2605 in NxMap.lua from
if c:IsShown() and not self.MMOwnedFrms[c] then
to
if c:IsShown() and not self.MMOwnedFrms[c] and string.find(c:GetName() or "nil", "HandyNotePins") then
as a temp fix. Though this change also prevents it from moving icons that don't set a name (like MageNuggets and HealBot). I never really done lua, so I am sure I am doing something wrong with it.

Negative. no combat. i've been able to replicate it in garrison and out and about. only into beastwatch with this toon but my 100 has the same thing going on so i don't think it is area restricted problem.

side note: once and a while a quest will not update but if you alt m and just mouse over the objective it updates carbonite's list.

BTW look in PM's for my realid. i'll help you get to level 100 as long as you are horde.

Sadly I have no hordes :P

I just uploaded a new version to git that should hopefully fix the problem, it was caused by the fix to have quest data available right away for new quests... when quest data is availble, it wasn't considered a "new" quest anymore, so now I have it doing update log (catch new quests).... build quest data.... update log a second time, means there's a small second between when new quests are showing on the watch list, and when it gets populated and allows tracking, but it's better then not working at all :P

it's just really strange that it never affected me at all until just now, I found tradeskill books for the garrison, and those quests caused it to happen so I was able to fix it using something I could reproduce over and over (read book, test, abandon quest, read book)

Found the problem (hopefully) with UBRS, it was missing a | in the zone info so stuff wasn't parsed properly for it. Just updated git, give it a try.
