[Feature-Request] Nameplates via oUF

Hi,

don't know if this has been asked befor or is already possible through an addon, but it would be realy nice to edit "Nameplates" using oUF layouts.

oUF is a framework for making unit frames. Nameplates are not (practically speaking) unit frames, and they are already made by the game itself; all you can do is edit their appearance after the fact. If you want a framework that lets you focus on the appearance and not have to worry about unit mapping and other technical details, TidyPlates is probably what you're looking for.

I'm just going to echo what Phanx said. There isn't really much in oUF that can be repurposed for nameplates.

Make a new addon call it oNF "otavi Nameplate Frames"

Or one could just install an addon like Aloft (I'm assuming thats still updated)
