Unit Frames

Im trying to make unit frames for all my raid members, and I have pretty much finished them, except that I can't click them to target that perticular raid member, I read on the WoW forums about making a frame 'secure' by making it inherit a secure template, I did this, and it acts like something you would be able to click on to target, but Im still not sure how to designate who it targets, any help would be appreciated, thanks
