It's nice that BT3 has the functionality built-in for those who click cast using a mouse; not so generous for functionality for those who use their keyboards more.
Personally, I set up much more versatile macros that include mouseover functionality whenever I can so that I can mouseover a player or enemy on my screen (or appropriate party/raid/target/focus frame) and cast my spell as well. This makes it so that I can press a hotkey and do what I want; or right click to perform the action on myself; or press the hotkey with my mouse hovered over a player, target, or focus frame and be able to do things without losing my current target.
Clique is great for click casting with a mouse; Keybinder is great for keyboard users. I've found that if you learn to use both, you truly get to play the game to your ability.
When done right, it makes playing the game soooooooo much more enjoyable, in a pvp or pve environment.
