Snafu

I've just downloaded Snafu 1.7, it's in the correct place, etc, etc, but WoW is not picking it up as an addon. Am I missing something or is the download missing an all important file or something?

If it's not showing up, it isn't installed properly.

Post your complete install path for it.

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\SnaFu-1-7-Homebrew\

and then all the files are in there.

So it's in the right directory.. it's just not showing. It's got a libs directory below it - should all the files in here be in the addons directory?

What is inside the SnaFu-1-7-Homebrew folder? Files? or other folders? I'm betting you've got folder in folder going on ...

/edit NM, I just went and looked myself. The author fudged up. Rename the "SnaFu-1-7-Homebrew" folder to "SnaFu". Should work then.

Nope. Still doesn't work. And it's definitely not a directory in a directory. SnaFu.lua is in the (now named SnaFu) directory. Should I submit this as a bug?

"C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\SnaFu"

should work. I presume you're logged all the way out of WoW? You don't have 2 installations of WoW?

Okay. Got it working now. I downloaded the files from SVN. Although it might have started working after changing the directory name - it was at the bottom of the list not with the S's so it's possible I missed it.

Indeed. It's not really "SnaFu", but rather "|cffffffffSna|r|cff00ff00Fu|r"
