PitBull4 is probably the closest thing you're going to find, in terms of being able to micromanage every minute aspect of the frames.

Shadowed Unit Frames is another option, which aims to be highly configurable but not to such an extreme degree.

If you're comfortable writing/editing Lua code, then you may want to look into oUF. It's a unit frame framework that allows you to write your own layout, giving you total control over everything. At present, there are 134 layouts available on this site, and probably a few more available on Curse.

I'm an old Discord User myself, and I've found good substitutes in XPerl and Shadowed Unit Frames. Pitbull is far too crazy for me to put the hassle into configuring.

StUF - more config than PB4, more sane than it too. Not QUITE as configurable as oUF, but then again, nothing is.

And yes, I use StUF for my unit frames, have for a year or two now. Fantastic addon!

Stuf uses LibSharedMedia-3.0 for access to media types. You can get extra fonts, etc. with the SharedMedia addon, or use the MyMedia portion of the SharedMedia addon to add your own.
