deleting last verision

i downloaded the lastest and greatest verision. I also deleted 3.4 from the add-ons folder, but the game was on when i did this.
now with 4.0 installed, it still shows 3.4 in my add-ons screen in game.
How do i get 4.0 to show

Quit the game, delete all carbonite related folders from your addons folder, unzip a new set of folders from the carbonite zip, put them in your addons folder, restart the game.

Make sure you're updating the correct addons folder (there should only be one, but various versions of windows can do weird things, apparently).

Also worth noting is the game loads the addon info upon program start - if you upgrade an addon while in the game and check the addon list without restarting the game, the old version will show.
