Unwanted effect on removing abilities from action bar

It seems that whatever is in action bar gets activated when you press a mouse key on top of it.

So when you remove abilities from action bar by dragging them away with a mouse, it activates them once before removing them.

It's a minor inconvenience for endgame people, but it sure as hell annoying when you are trying to set up a proper button / keybindings layout for a fresh character

Anything i can do to work around it? Ideally, i want action bar buttons to activate not on mouse press, but on mouse release.

Edit your action bar and uncheck the box "Click AnyUp"

The box was unchecked.
But then i checked and, guess what, it worked as i wanted it to!

Yes in fact that's true.

Anyup, when you release your button.

Anydown is when you press your button.

You should default it to AnyUp, to be honest. People are more familiar with that.

The reason for AnyDown is that it increases your reaction time, and it helps - even on a minute level - combat high latency affects.

The faster you can mash buttons the faster you're going to see big numbers the faster you'll see dead bosses.
