Reset to default ... why?

Twice now my Carbonite has "reset" itself to the default settings and in the process erased all the data it has stored on quests my toons have completed, the contents of my banks, etc.

I'm not sure what caused it either time but I have quite a few toons and as you can imagine it's a little frustrating. Nothing seemed different, I just logged on and all the data was gone and the interface was reset to the default.

I'm using several other add-ons, including healbot, clique, dominoes, npc scan, silverdragon, dbm, recount, decursive, gatherer, gearscore, omnicc, rankwatch, viper notify, and auctioneer (not all on the same toon of course).

Is there anything I can do about it in the future, or am I stuck resetting everything each time it happens?

i've had it happen a few times in the past, most common cause seems to be a couple of dc's that seem to like wiping most addon settings.

if what Snoweh said is true, you might wana check this out. no idea if it'll help or if it's even up to date, but still, try it.

This has not only happened twice but pretty much every time I log. I do use quite a few more addons than you but they have never been a problem with Carbonite before. Not sure if it due to a recent update ... still searching.
