Aura Icons "effects"

Not sure when it changed, but.. I have some effect with my buffs/debuffs (aaura icons on unit frames), when they fade in or out (when you change target etc). It looks cool, but.. can I turn it off somehow?
In some situations it makes my life harder and becomes a little bit annoying :\ For example when I look on debuffs of target of my target and it switches a lot.

Yeah, I noticed this too. Sometimes the fading takes several seconds (instead of what I assume is supposed to be a fraction of one) and/or the aura icon just stays on the frame at half-alpha instead of disappearing.

I added a checkbox to use the smooth option or not.
