Double Tooltip Quest Tracking.

I'm getting a "double quest tracking" in my tooltip. One looks like the Blizzard track helper (on mobs) and of course Carbonites. I remember this problem a while back, is there a setting that i should turn on or off?

I'm not sure if this is Carbonite or not. I've seen this happen without Carbonite installed, but with other things in the tooltip. I can't seem to replicate it again though.

I've turned off "Tinytip" which is a tooltip addon (just for looks) and i'm still getting the same issue.

i guess i could just turn off all addons and see which one is doing it.

As far as i can tell you can't disable the Blizzard tooltip, aside from that there's nothing wrong. The first "Emerald Dragon's tear" is the name of the item you have your mouse over, the second is the name of the quest, and the third is the amount of the item you have/need.

You may definitely have more than one tooltip showing the status of the quest though. There are several addons that can add this info to your tooltip Carbonite being one of them.

You can turn off Carbonites Quest Info Tooltip easily enough though.

Open the Carbonite Options screen
On left side select Quests
In Right Window uncheck the 5th box down under the "Quest Options" header labeled "Show Quest info in tooltip"

Just out of pure curiosity, is there anyway to hide the "other" thing that is tracking the quests? I'd rather just have Carbonite tracking if at all possible.

It's most likely possible. It depends on what other addon may be adding that info to your tooltip.

Try to post a list (pic or test) of addons you use .. see if we can figure it out.
