I emailed that to my mother (Who is under 5' tall), she couldn't stop laughing. I can see where someone might get offended, but not everyone takes their self too seriously to laugh at the ridiculous.

The words are to a Randy Newman song written in 1977. It was actually very popular back then and made it all the way to #2 on the billboard top 100 (beat out by Debby Boone's 'You Light up my Life'). He actually wrote it not to be mean but rather as a commentary on how some people treated others who did not live up to society's rigid standards.

Oh by the way same man who wrote 'You Got a Friend in Me' from the Disney movie Toy Story.

Ok enough of the history lesson now that you know what generation I am in....

IRL 5'1" so that song has always driven me nuts, too.

As for it being inappropriate ... meh, as DocEVL said, it's the words to a well known song, it isn't something new that tralkar just made up or anything.

Thats ok you two IRL I am 5'3" which is very short for a man. Funny too since my dad is 6'2, my brother is 6'3 and my eldest son is 6'6.

But I'm 6'1" and my GF is 4'11" and her sister and mom are also in that range ... she's actually taller than them
