Unhappy A strange desktop freezing problem

Since 2.4, when I changed all my addons, I keep having this problem: from time to time, my PC simply freezes and refuses to do anything, so I have to reboot it. And this it's not too funny in a BG or in a raid
Here is the list of my add-ons, if there it's a problem with them, I'd like to know. Thank you.

It sounds like you've got something else going on with your computer as I don't think addons would cause that issue.

Do you have the latest updated drivers for your video card, sound card, monitor, and the latest version of DirectX?

Did you make sure you don't have any evil dust bunnies in your computer tower, and that your processor fan is free of them, too?

Did you make sure your CPU and video card aren't overheating?

I checked everything, even changed my video card drivers.
Could be the problem that I run still on DirectX 9.c instead of 10 ?

It may not be that WoW "hates" that card, rather the drivers for that card do not get along with WoW. I would update to the latest drivers or if you have, revert to an older version. Driver/Game fights have been the cause of many a monitor's death (via a fist or heavy object driven through it in a fit of anger).

Also, my brain may die too =/ I tried every posible test and nothing seems wrong with my beloved PC.
And yesterday I changed to the latest drivers, till then I simply rolled with those I got when I bought the graphic card.

There's no way to tell if an addon might be causing the issue, unless you're willing to try it so that you can rule it out.

You don't have to "play". Just move the Interface and WTF folders to your desktop, delete the Cache folder and log into the game. Check out the auction house, chat with people in trade, wonder around a city checking out all the vendors etcetera. Just go into the game and do whatever just to see if you crash. This is the only way to tell if there's an addon causing the problem.

That is exactly what the Blizzard techs in the official forum will tell you to try first.

This can't be a driver issue.

Nor can be it a full 100% Blizzard issue.

I myself have this card. I have 0 problems. And I'm pretty sure I have the latest driver.

And, I don't think it can be addons if you tried playing without them and it still happened.

Have you tried seeking support from NVIDIA?

I'd like to see the OP disable all addons as well, just to be certain (although I really doubt an addon would be causing this). It really seems like a hardware issue to me. I'd check all your system drivers (chipset, video, sound, network, in that order of importance). Certainly wouldn't be the first time a driver caused major headaches.

I 1st looked on Nvidia forums, since I saw there some 'freezing problems' threads. But there was no response to that threads

LE: Also, I let my dear warlock in the bank, for something like 1 hour and half, afk. When I came back to the PC, the screen was freezed and couldn't hear the music. Ofc, I had to reboot. Kinda strange :/
Any of you had similar problems? It kinda gets on my nerves, I ran most PC test I could and I didn't find a problem. But still, something is and I can't raid anymore (

I'd bet $5 it's a hardware issue. Please disable all of your addons to test it. Then follow some of our suggestions on updating all of your system drivers.

I had a very similar situation awhile back, it turned out to be my power supply . I ended up practically rebuilding my computer by the time a friend suggested power supply. I thought he was an idiot, but it fixed it. I'm not saying this is your issue, but it sounds very similar.

The PSU was a good suggestion. That was actually the last thing that died in my rig, and I at first thought it was the GPU, it caused so much problems.

Another thought that came to mind is a strange problem that Blizz has acknowledged (not sure if its been fixed or not). Do you use Avast Antivirus? If so, try disabling or a different program altogether.

Nope, 1st I used Kaspersky Internet Security, and now I'm using Zone Alarm Security Suite...
