Name Display, need help

Im not sure if this is even possible, and that is why im here. Im curious to know if its possible to design an addon that can display your own characters name above their head, just like with other npc's and pc's in the game. Im interested to know if its possible to do that because i think it would be handy in terms of pvp status, granted i can just look at the character window and see the icon to show im flagged for pvp, but i think id prefer to just see my name go from blue to green, anyways id really like to know if this is possible or not, any info at all on this would be greatly appreciated.

and no its not posible ....the closest thing would to have a tag with your info centered on the screen at all times...the UI has no way of interacting with 3d objects in the game world
