Double Icons

I'm getting double Icons on my Tooltips when I click item links from chat channels.

Anyone know what addons might be causing this? I know one of them is probably due to TipTac, but what is the smaller one?

That may be the default actually. It looks more centered on the small tooltip on top.

The default item ref tooltips do not show icons.

Auctioneer module and TipTac module are doing it.

Any idea where I can find the option to turn off the Auctioneer icons? I had a quick look but nothing really stood out.

I don't remember how to access the options for Auctioneer. It's been years since I've used it. Is there not an option for TipTac?

For the record, it's not Auctioneer. Informant (part of the Auc suite) is adding the extra box at the bottom, but isn't necessarily doubling up the icon. Same thign happens to me, no icon.

Also, it does it with items that are clicked to bring up a static tooltip, but not on tooltips that are brought up by hovering over an item.

Right. Not Auctioneer. I couldn't remember the name of the module that does it, so I just said Auctioneer module (since Informant comes with Auctioneer and, iirc - at least from when I used it, is required for Auctioneer to work).

cause the screenshot is of a static (item ref) tooltip.

There's no option for Tiptac, but I'd rather keep it's icons because it puts icons onto achievements as well.

I guess I'll keep searching.

I thought there was an option under the '/tip' config for icons.

I managed to find this slash command on the wiki for auctioneer.

/informant show-icon (on|off|toggle)

But it's not working, giving me a 'unknown command keyword' error.

EDIT: Looks like they removed the icons all together by what I can gather from the Auctioneer website.

Also, the icon options in TipTac are for raid/faction/etc icons as far as I can tell.

I think the Auctioneer addon that does icons on tooltip is Enhanced Tooltip. It also displays the gold values of an item on the tooltip, iirc (been over a year since I used Auctioneer).

Doubt it's gonna be both Auctioneer and Tiptac unless you changed something, as i use these 2 and don't have that problem

Did anyone figure out what caused this? I have the same issue?

So... have you tried turning off addons one by one until the problem goes away? Sure, it's kind of an annoying procedure, but then so is that error.
