When you mouseover the different element types in the default totem bar you get a little up arrow (picture). Clicking on the arrow pops up a list of all of the totems of that element type. Clicking on totem of that element changes the currently selected call to include the chosen totem.

And theres a reason to use bartender. I'm using the dominos totem bar. It does not do that
