1. what addons are you trying to install?
2. when you open your addons menu (where you click "load out of date", are they all listed there?

I have installed the wow quest helper---
and I did not see anything listed...it just said load them........I did not see anywhere a list was available....when they are done with tuesday maintenance I can log in and look again.
but this hasn't answered my problem.
