My name comes from my attempt to make an authentic sounding night elf name for my wow character in vanilla wow.
I thought, well sylvan means something green and natural, and i noticed that the town names had "aar" at the end of them.
Since sylvan was taken, i went with Sylvanaar.
Ironically, my attempt at an authentic sounding name met The Burning Crusade, and now it looks like I named myself after a town.
