Maybe this will help with arrow. If you use the macro to reset the position, it comes back. It disappears if you /reload or change characters. I am using the latest DEV version. You have to use the reset macro, to get the arrow to show up, and as long as you stay on that character, you can position it, and use it. Once you log to a different character, you have to use the macro to reset. To keep from having to find the post, I have copied the macro.
/carb winpos nxhud 840 200
those represent the pixel location of the resolution of 1680 x 1050, it puts the arrow near center top on my screen. Once it puts it on screen, it stays, until I log out, or am forced to /reload
