Pft... try this on... I was having problems with network connectivity here at home. Sporadic random outages for 5 minutes at a time.
I call Brighthouse Networks and eventually end up talking to technical support. I explain to them that I have traced from my computer, through my router, to their cable modem and I could not see past their cable modem.
It took me 10 minutes to explain to THE NETWORKING TECHNICAL SUPPORT AGENT I was speaking with that it was not possible for my router to be the problem if I was able to talk to their cable modem on the other side of it, but nothing past their cable modem.
