Also be sure you didn't install it to the program files directory, which doesn't have write priviledges. Default should have been the /users/public/games folder but maybe you changed it.

I tried in vain to get Kubuntu to run wow but it just flat out refused. Errored out every time trying to install through WINE. I really wish I could get it running though.

I still haven't figured this out if anyone has ideas. You could also alt click an item in your bags when the trade window was open and it would automatically put the item into an open trade square.
