Sending addon messages to communities

Quick question: Is there a way to send addon messages to communities?

Nightness is incorrect. You can send addon messages to guilds, custom channels, and individuals whether or not you’re in a group. However, there is no addon channel for communities. In fact, they recently encoded communities so that names and messages cannot be read by addons.
