nUI: Stats (Merged Omen3/Recount info panels)
 

for some reason the plugin will get stuck on Omen and not switch to Recount when combat ends sometimes they only way i know to fix is it /rl

If you enter combat a second time, it still does not switch back?

Ive run across this maybe a half a dozen times in the last year. Never reported it as I couldn't reproduce it reliably. And no Scott for me entering combat again didn't fix only a reload would.

nope it would stay like that until i reloaded the UI.

Okay -- I'll look into it and see if I can figure out what's going on there.

This happened again in 25man VoA today, i think it happens when your doing something with recount then you enter combat.

Not seeing Recount or Omen.

So here is my deal.

I currently have the following installed:
nUI
nUI_InfoPanel_Carbonite
nUI_InfoPanel_DualStats
nUI_InfoPanel_Stats

When I have just nUI active via the Addons menu I have tabs for Map, Omen3 and Combat.

When I have nUI and nUI_InfoPanel_Carbonite active I gain the Carbonite panel.

When I have nUI, nUI_InfoPanel_Carbonite & nUI_InfoPanel_Stats active I only see Combat, Map and Carbonite panels.

When I have nUI, nUI_InfoPanel_Carbonite & nUI_InfoPanel_DualStats active I still only see Combat, Map and Carbonite panels.

Finally when I have all four active it's still just Combat, Map and Carbonite.

Any idea what I need to do to get the Omen/Recount panel showing?

PS - just updated and installed the most recent versions of nUI+ (Release) 5.06.07 (Plus) and nUI_InfoPanel_Stats v1.02.00

Do you have omen and recount addons installed ? The Info Panels are only holders for the addons themselves to hide them away when not needed to be seen.

Also, you only need Stats or Dual Stats. You don't need to have both. Stats will put Omen and Recount in the same panel and will switch them depending on combat situation and DualStats will display them side by side. Not having them at all will mean omen goes in one panel and recount in another.

Or you could remove both the stats and dual-stats and just download skada, which has both threat and dps meters all in one addon and does not need a separate info-panel plugin to show properly. xD

So this is where I go *facepalm* and turn a few dozens shades of red.

I had Omen installed but not recount. Just installed recount and turned Stats active in the Addon menu and it all works fine now.

As you can see, the Omen meter is messed, anyone know a fix for this?

Uninstall Omen and Stats, install Skada.

I'd prefer to use the stats, but for now I am sticking with Skada until a fix for this is found.

I'm not sure I see what the problem is, to be honest.

Look at the Omen meter, the TPS and Threat are overwriting each other. I would use dual stats, but the omen window cant fit in TPS and Threat in the window.

Hmm, might be a carry over setting from having the side by side version of stats installed. That would have made nUI ( I think ) set up the widths to fit the frames in side by side with each other which by the looks of the values ( ignoring the bars ) seems to be the case.

You might want to rename the recount/omen wtf files and see if that resolves the issue. of course any special settings you had would also have been reset at that point but once you know whether it is an auto settings problem then you can resolve it by adjusting the settings manually.

I've only ever used them side by side or on separate panels so have not seen your problem. But then again I usually wipe my wtf files as well when I do a big addon update.

I would take Xrystal's advice on this... the quick easy test is this...

1. exit WoW
2. go to the [ World of Warcraft ] folder
3. rename [ WTF ] to [ WTF.saved ]
4. log back in to WoW but do not enter the world
5. click the "AddOns" button at the character selection screen
6. click the "Disable All" button
7. scroll down the list and enable nUI, nUI_InfoPanel_Stats, Omen and Recount -- leave everything else disabled for now.
8. close the window
9. enter the world

Does it work now? If not, let me know. Otherwise, start enabling your other mods one at a time and see if it keeps working. Likewise, start customizing your settings one at a time and see if it breaks.

You can't have stats and duel stats installed at the same time , Just have duel stats, omen 3 and recount installed.
