Alpha 5 known bugs

Just a list of the one's i've seen myself and trying to narrow down

1) still getting an error about vertemp in Nxcom sometimes

2) quest updates are not sending to parties

thanks to someone on curse I know the fix for the first one.... one small "," was missing in the variable declaration.

as another bug to be added (tho it's already fixed for next release) is warehouse tooltips, I check for Character instead of Characters so it's generating an error. If you want to fix it yourself before I release alpha 6, edit Nxwarehouse.lua and add the 's' on line 1397

Thanks for the fixes Rythal. One question:

How would I find line 1397 in the file? All I have is Notepad or Wordpad with which to edit, and neither has a line counter (that I can find).

If you paste a bit more of the code in the line, I could use the "find" function though. ;)

i'm about to upload alpha 6, so you don't need to worry about it :)

I'm not sure how to get a line counter for wordpad. But, in Notepad click on the 'View' Tab in the menu bar, and make sure Status Bar is checked. Then on the bottom right corner it will display the line and space within that line.

6 seems to have solved the warehouse issue for me. I'm not sure about the other bugs as I didn't experience any others at all actually.

Thanks again Rythal!

Notepad++ is definitely a great text editor. I use it all the time for both work and home.

You should have Notepad++ on a PC to edit LUA files, or TextWrangelr/BBEdit on a Mac.

You can destroy some LUA files by using notepad since it doesn't support UTF-8 files.

NotePad++ and TextWrangler are free.
