No SOund when Completing Quest
As the title says. I am not getting any indication that I have completed a quest. Has anyone else ran into this?
It appears to be hit and miss. Some quests are giving the sound alert and others are not. |
Yep, I've got the same problem. But mine is not "hit or miss" as far as I can tell. It just started happening last night (8/20/2016) and I had updated Carbonite with the GitHub Master. I'm not sure if that's it, though. I use ElvUI with about 45 addons from Curse.com, plus some from WoWInterface.com (but, I don't really know how many) and some of them "overlap", so....... I was just waiting it out to see if it got fixed. 8^)

What was the quest? Did you see in the chat "[Carbonite] Quest complete"? Is it a daily? event? Did watcher/quest log show it as complete? |

City under Siege has no quest complete sound or chat text but the rest of the chain does..

Yeah, there's one like that (at least one, but I can only remember running into one) in Thousand Needles, too. I think it's something about an ice cannon, or something like that. When you pick up the quest, there's no quest completion sound, but, if you look in the quest watch, or the quest log, it is marked as complete as soon as you pick it up.

I've not had any quest complete sound for some days now in Legion. Not exactly sure if I had quest complete sounds on ANY quest during 100-110 (I can't remember what level or where I was when I first noticed it) but it's definitely every quest in the Broken Isles that I complete. Quest watcher shows all objectives complete but no sound played.
