Why choose when you can have both?

Pancakes and waffles are made from the same batter.

Well there's banana pancakes which are incredible. And there are waffles with fresh strawberries which are also incredible.

Banana pancakes are slightly more incredible.

Why choose? Have both!

So... you can't put bananas on the waffles and strawberries on the pancakes?

Maybe not that sweet as for other guys.
My beloved and I came into an agreement that one of us should contribute spare time to tidying the room, washing dishes and clothes, and most importantly cooking meal.
It would be rather unfair if one go for silly dailies while the other one doing housework.
Then we both quit.
Need better solution. :(

Well, That's where logistics come into play. Most of the time banana waffles come with banana on top, where banana pancakes they are cooked in.

So it's more about presentation.

If you give me waffles with banana inside, it would be like an overload trying to choose which one!

I do my own pancakes and waffles - and I mash bananas into them. And add real vanilla. :>

I figured I'd join in on the derail.

So hard for me to get good waffles / pancakes in Japan. Been here 6 months of my 10-15 year plan and I am missing my "Coney Island" breakfasts from Michigan. Proper breakfast is just so no understood here in Japan.

Lunch and dinner are covered - but man sometimes I want a nice chili-cheese omelet, or a nice stack of pancakes with REAL MAPLE SYRUP. AAAARGH!

What did you guys do to my thread in the last couple days O.o

It's still about freedom being sweet... but now it's freedom from the tyranny of... FRENCH TOAST!

Perhaps the culinary argument could serve as an analogy for a delightful state of indecision accompanying awareness of the sweetly infinite (and infinitely sweet) possibilities afforded by the nature of free will.

My own free will is currently leading me into caffeine overdose...
