Also, Immortals is a pretty good movie; not as godly amazing as 300, but pretty darn good (if you ignore some basic mistakes they made with Greek mythology).

It's unlikely to piss me off nearly as much as "300" did - simply because 300 was loosely based on actual events that happened absolutely nothing like what was in the movie. :P

Well, the latest 300 was made more in an attempt to attract as many teenagers to the movie theaters as possible. :p

And I admit, it was actually loosely based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller (the creator of Sin City), which admitted to only being loosely based on real events.

My thoughts - it was gorgeous, but WARRRGARBL! Insanity for insanity's sake, really - the real events were so insane that there was no need to create blade-handed ogres and cast the limb-stretched Dhalsim from Street Fighter. :>
