Unzip it.
I get a folder called "oUF_Phanx-3.1.3.15-beta"
Change that to "oUF_Phanx"

The black template will not crash the mac wow client.
To fix this open \\interface\\AddOns\\....UI_MainMenu_Northrend.M2 in a text editor.
Type in a word, eg. abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Save it.

As stated a zero byte file: UI_MainMenu_Northrend.M2, crashes on mac's.
How about making it not zero byte but say 4 byte?
I got it to work on my mac by doing the simplest of things;
1) Open up the file; UI_MainMenu_Northrend.M2, in text edit.
2) Typed on the first line, "nothing here", write anything.
3) Save the file
