Also there seems to be a problem where tooltips stop showing up at all, without any error. Don't have any more details about that, sadly.
I've never seen that one myself.
But I did look into the color problems and found out there's kinda two separate problems:

I've been using a 3rd party updated version until now and it has some features that are missing in yours, namely multistrike support and showing gained absorbs, like when I give someone a Power Word: Shield it shows +300 Absorb.
Would be awesome if that could be added :)

Nope. If you want lure-related features, use FishermansFriend, FishingAce, FishingBuddy, etc. I wrote this addon specifically because I didn't want all that.
I can't reproduce any issues with options not saving. Which option(s) in particular are you seeing reset?
All the on/off ones don't save at all.
