O.o that's rather strange, but, well... let's call it a bit slow. Try reducing gfx settings and see if it gets any better.
If you mean the graphics settings on the wow client, they're already low. I think the only thing I have off 'low' is sparkles on items like herbs and stuff.

It's a Blizzard bug. It only happens in some zones (eg. Mount Hyjal) and I have not found any way around it; the API just doesn't return criteria info, and even if you view the achievement in the default achievement UI, you can't see the criteria.
Edit: I just added a note about the bug to the addon description.

Blizzard in 5.0 made the combat lockdown errors way more visible. MetaMap needs to be rebuilt to remove a lot of these I think. I will see if I can track down the bug below.

I *believe* Wholly comes up with a hover/tool tip when you hover over the name of a quest in your quest log... if not, I need to figure out what's doing this.
*sometimes* - not all the time, and I can't find a pattern - the tooltip gets attached to the mouse pointer, and doesn't go away. I can dismiss the quest log pane, hit escap...
