Well, it seems that a new version of TipTac has been released. It doesn't have the problem where it tells you the slot instead of the item when you mouse over it (ex: "Main Hand" instead of "The Soulblade"). However, it grows to the left and covers my minimap.
Example: With the old version it does this:
