for combat related fails that is, e.g. void zone sartharion drakes, that flame wall thingie or heigan lava eruption hits - those things wont kill you at all.
yes they do, at least when you have the debuffs from the three drakes, less hp than a tank and no outs like frostblock, cloak oder bubble
I like the way it works very much...
