Ah, that makes sense - I admit i'd lazily done a find search for 'portrait' this morning and figured the portraitIconID return would cover it, but I notice now that that's for garrison plots instead :P

How would I go about using a custom font for all of the elements?
Rather than having a custom font and file-path embedded in the addon, I just link to the default which can be customised nice and easily. More info here:

open up the objective.lua file, go to line 176 and replace
block.HeaderText:SetFont(STANDARD_TEXT_FONT, 14.5)
with
block.HeaderText:SetFont(STANDARD_TEXT_FONT, 14.5, "OUTLINE")...

I like this a lot, really neat/clean way to represent damage taken in a world of spammy number strings. I assume the frame is hidden if damage taken is 0?
Would second zork's idea for using text strings instead of textures - would like to pick my own font to use. I guess you're doing it to bypass the upper threshold/limit on text...
