problem with gui

Hi, I'm having a problem with the gui. Typing /dot, /cd, /tl etc does nothing. Shitf- right click on a timer brings up a yes/no button frame, but clicking yes does nothing. Combat Fader

No matter what I do, I can't get it to work. Is there anything else I must do other than decreasing the out of combat alpha to 0% ? When I do, it just fades out for less than a second, then comes back on. More like a flashing effect. Shadowcatch: Go to Player, auras, enable, and untick the buff box.
