Just replace the file with a .wav file of the same name and it will work fine.

EDIT2: It appears that the problems I was having only happened when MapNotes was installed, which I found weird. I figured i don't use MapNotes anyways so i got rid of it and now there are no problems. Great mod, nice and simple =)
