I doubt if they would, but I'll install them and check it out. EDIT: Using your report (among others) I was able to track down the bug and squish it. I believe that it popped up if you mounted without entering any text... which, sorry to say, I didn't test for. Version 1.0.3 should fix this, but plase let me know if it doesn't!...

Yup, there were some errors having to do with taxis (like bats or gryphons). Oddly enough, just having used a taxi could make an error crop up out of the blue. However, that should be fixed in v1.0.2, which also doesn't have strange messages crop up in the Chat window.
