getting a weird error here, started after the recent hotfix.
Pings an error everytime you mouseover a nameplate.

Sure.
ESC => DuffedUI => Unit Frames => Enable OOC-Hide for ressource bar

For the not able to join battleground issue, it got solved for me by disabling addons, join BG queue, enable addons, leave BG queue. Now it works just fine no idea why it was like this.
edit: Nevermind, only works until restarting the wow client..
I could not even get that far, it just errors out and wont allow you to join peri...
