Ok, I'm back home and had some time for a test. I made a new toon and only activated your addon. It works fine. So I tried to find out which addon breaks the micromenu. I found out that Bagnon seems to mess with the micromenu.

It does pretty much exactly the same thing as my addon and you can adjust button spacing. Yep, I'm using compact bars (with clean bars, if that matters).
